Tula is an empire waist, A-line style dress. It closes down the back with buttons, but no need to line up all those pesky buttonholes, the buttonholes are formed while sewing the garment with the use of a button band. Tula has lots of options for using different trims such as lace, piping etc. to embellish either some or all of the seams. Two cutting lines are included to better fit a variety of doll sizes.

Recommended Fabrics: Poplin, chambray, shirting, quilter's cotton, silk, and taffeta are all good choices.
Supplies Needed:
- ¼ yard fabric (Fat quarters work great)
- 7 buttons (3/8 or ½ inch work best)
- 6 to 24 inches of trim
