The "Betsy Ross Shop Apron & Cap" sewing pattern, by Flossie Potter, is a companion pattern to the "Betsy Ross Shop Dress." The cap is based on caps from the late 1700s, and is one that Betsy may have worn when speaking with customers.
The cap has a wide ruffled brim that pools onto the shoulders. It ties in the back which creates a puffed style that can accommodate our dolls' glorious hair. The apron is a simple rectangle with a casing that holds one long tie.
