This PDF knitting pattern can help you create a detailed fair isle sweater, like the ones pictured here.  This boldly colored yoked sweater is worked from the turtleneck downwards.  Using three colors (or more if desired), the colorwork is completed on the yoke, which means that dressing the doll is less of a challenge than with a sweater where the colorwork goes all the way down the sleeves.  The sweater is fitted at the side seams for a figure-skimming fit.

The sweater may fit a variety of 16" dolls, but is specifically fitted to Robert Tonner's 16" Ellowyne Wilde or Tyler Wentworth.  The sweater is completely open in the back for ease of knitting.

You can use a variety of medium weight fabrics for this PDF pattern. If your looking for a sturdy form, canvas and twill will work great. To achieve a designer display look, try a fun print or pattern. If you find a fabric that seems a little lightweight for this project, simply iron-on some fusible inter- facing to all pieces to give it the needed stability. To top off our form, we used an acrylic bead. The base is made from a wood candlestick we painted. These supplies can easily be found at your local craft store or online.

A slick lining, like rayon is also suggested for this PDF pattern. We used a 1/4” velvet trim for the straps and a 1” wide beaded lace trim to embellish the sides (on the cover photo dress). If your trims are not beaded and you would like to add that extra sparkle, try beading the trim yourself. Have fun making your one-of-a-kind designer gown!

The Liberty Jane® Euro Libby: STEAM outfit was first designed as part of the Fall 2013 collection for 18 inch dolls. This PDF pattern has been beautifully redesigned to fit the 16 inch Ellowyne Wilde™ Dolls and includes all three pieces of the outfit - the jacket, top, and skirt.  With a bit of early 19th Century military inspiration and steampunk flair, this outfit is just what your doll needs to meet up with her friends at Cosplay Bridge, the place where Japanese cosplay and lolita fashion is on display to see and be seen! 

The jacket features a fully lined interior, princess seams, front placket, neck band, arm cuffs, and at all collar. Suggested fabrics for the jacket include faux leather, ultra suede, faux suede, denim or twill. Buttons or studs add a nice detail to the fold back front placket.  

The darling skirt with the high low hemline has a  removable bustle and lace peeking out from the hemline and ruffles. The double-breasted front features two rows of tiny decorative buttons so your doll can wear her coat open or snapped closed.  Decorative welt pockets run along topstitched princess seams.  Cuffs are accented with two tiny buttons.
